2008 is behind us and the numbers above show Arlington Heights Real Estate did better than many other area towns.  That is due to the great community feel, the fantastic location, and of course the downtown area that all other area towns try to replicate.  Prices were down in 2008, but not to the degree we are seeing in other towns.  That shows the desirability that Arlington Heights continues to have with its residents and buyers.  What’s ahead for 2009?  The next few months will give us an idea of the overall attitude going into the Spring and we’ll know shortly after that.  With historically low interest rates and great prices, buyers should feel confident in making a move – this is one of the best times ever to buy a home.
